Stephen and his wisdom teeth

Before and After

Stephen had his 4 wisdom teeth and one more removed last Thursday.  Those things were HUGE!  He had general anesthesia, was in recovery for about an hour and six hours after arriving at the hospital we were on our way home.  The doctors and nurses were all rather interested in Stephen's syndrome, Cri du chat, and his pre-op nurse has a disabled son which made from very interesting and parallel experience conversation.

My Stephen

This is my buddy and son Stephen, 17 years of age. He is spending the summer in the most wonderful residential school in the USA, in my opinion. I feel so blessed to have a fabulous doctor for Stephen, Dr. Nina Bass, who loves Stephen and recommended Stewart Home School to our family.
